As a pilot, I fell in love with each type airplane that I flew during my lifetime. Incorporated in the border surrounding this painting I show a line drawing of all the aircraft that I have flown.  I have depicted some interesting experiences such as the time I buzzed my future wife and her mother on the beach near Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York and  the time a P-40 from Mitchel Field buzzed me as I flew my solo cross-countryin a J-3 Cub (that taught me to keep my head out of the cockpit).  Also shown is the high speed emergency landing made in a B-25 with fuel pouring from the right nacelle (the Army General  I was flying to Washington was not happy he had to take the train).
